The Native Plant Salvage Alliance (NPSA) collaborates to preserve, restore and teach about native flora in Tacoma and Pierce County, Washington. The NPSA was originally created in 2003 by volunteers to support citizen plantings and habitat restoration projects occurring throughout the Puget Sound basin. Since June of 2010, The West Seattle Tool Library has provided free access to over a 1,500 tools to any resident in our community who can show a couple forms of ID and sign their name.  Over 450 residents have taken The Tool Library up on that offer and formed a great community of DIYers, makers, and students.  We invite you to join the community as well.
