- I love growing vegs, have a few plants in containers right now, can't figure out how to do a vegetable garden in my steep-sloped yard. I'm in north county, but I hope to be able to attend a meeting here and there to learn from others' expertise :)
- Do you have any formal horticultural experience?

Nope. I'm self-taught by way of trial and error, and love to bury my face in a good gardening book.
- Do you currently tend your own Garden?

I have a few vegetables and herbs in pots, but desire a much larger vegetable garden. Want to come over and help me build some raised beds? Hee ;)

I love my square foot garden. I live in a rented appartment and this is the only way I can really have any kind of veg garden. Trying to improve the soil here would just be a waste of time.
I do have a few observations though - one of which is that 4 feet is quite a large area to lean across to attend to the plants - especially if you have any back problems.
